The 6th Annual Water Symposium - "The Future of Water in a Green World"

  • 16 Jun 2016
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman St, Raleigh, NC 27606

Join North Carolina’s Green Industry Council as they continue the discussion about employing green infrastructure to meet the water challenges of our rapidly urbanizing society.

The shift from traditional gray to green infrastructure across the US is helping communities, cities and companies increase their resiliency to everyday and once-in-a-lifetime weather events through a more natural approach to handling storm-water.

Plants and pervious surfaces to manage storm-water at the watershed and site level are the answer. Parks, urban forests, green roofs, rain gardens, constructed wetlands, permeable pavement, cisterns…these are the new roots of urban resilience.

Continuing Education Credits are available.  Find out more and register at SavingWaterNC.com
