Leading (and following) During Adversity:  Lessons from Coal Ash

Presentation by Mark McIntire, Director of Environment & Energy Affairs, Duke Energy

The coal ash accident at Duke Energy's Dan River Stream Station in 2014 fundamentally altered the way many think about electricity.  Mark will share his coal ash ash story and how the events of February 2014 are changing an industry.  In addition to answering questions about the accident and all that has transpired since, he will share his perspectives on environmental leadership during difficult times.

Continuing Education Credits:  This forum will provide 1 PDH (professional development hour) credit for professional engineers and surveyors, contingent upon board approval.
