Join us for our 20th Annual Conference! We have an exciting agenda this year that highlights a diverse array of our state's priority water resources topics. In addition to oral and poster presentations, we feature several panel discussions, hands-on participatory sessions, and ample networking across professional sectors.

Student Engagement Opportunities include a "Careers in Water Resources" session and a session on "Effective Visualization, Design and Communication of Your Research." We also offer a Mentorship Program to pair students, recent grads and those reentering the workforce with professionals in the water world.

This year, we are again partnering with NC State Live! to host our keynote speaker, Pueblo musician Robert Mirabal, whose latest release, River, speaks to the importance of our connections with water. In addition to his music, Robert has been a lifelong traditional farmer and will speak to the importance of community, traditional knowledge and culture as it relates to framing how we think about and approach our interactions with natural resources.

Conference participants will have the option to purchase discounted tickets to hear Robert play alongside the Indie-classical string quartet, ETHEL, at NCSU's Stewart Theater on March 15, 2018.
